Marc Singer, Robert Englund, and Michael Ironside in the thrilling sequel miniseries about human resistance to alien invaders — from the birth of the first interspecies child to a harrowing countdown to nuclear doomsday.
Way, way better than the new series, and way easier to follow.
I remember the first time I saw it , it was amazing. It awoke my imagination.
Unfortunately my mother dragged me to church everytime the show was on.
what is the sequence? i hae the 4 DVDs with lots of episodes but it feels it is missing something. the end perhaps? do they have it here?

This sci-fi miniseries was done in the early 1980's, but is still an excellent Sci-Fi show. I definately recommend it.

A thoroughly enjoyable adventure in Si Fi. Sure not what we expect today but it has a great story line follow up to the original miniseries and a good theme. Reminds us of the horrible lies we can be fed to get us to do something. Kind of like Hitler's Germany and the triumph of good over evil and the will of a free people to fight.
