  • I was skeptical.

I was worried about this one. Modern shows/movies revisiting the classics tend to ruin them. This one did not do that. Although, I could have done without the F-bombs, totally unecessary. I also could have done without the pulling out of the eyeballs. The F-bombs and the torture scene really killed the Star Trek TNG feel, and I did not like that at all. Star Trek TNG was my favorite, and this one did a pretty good job sticking to that aside from the few problems. Clean up the language and dial down the graphic stuff, and I will be fully on board.

Star Trek: Picard kills Picard and remakes him as an android. It makes no sense. Why is Data trapped in a box? He blewed up when he killed Shinzon in 2003. Now you can get Data DNA and clone a whole group of androids from a blewed up Data? Huh? Climate change denial makes more sense than this show.

Don’t even waste your time. The most disappointing trash since Star Trek Discovery.

This is the most unique and interesting show to exist within the Star Trek universe. The characters are varied and interesting, the story is fantastic, and of course, Patrick Stewart is at the top of his game. I can’t wait for season 2. Don’t listen to the folks who can’t accept that Star Trek can grow beyond TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, or ENT. This is how characters and shows evolve. Really good stuff. Highly recommended.

Growing up on the Original Series and all through the different Trek Shows, I’ve loved them all until now. This is such a betrayal of the spirit and Quality of Star Trek. Capt. Picard was a loved character, but now I cannot stand the character. For Alex Kurtzman to say the show shows purpose is to be a Platform for promoting BLM and SJW political agendas, over entertainment is disgusting. Those say he never said that can watch it for themselves during the STD Virtual YouTube. Ruining a franchise that has been an institution for half a century for personal political beliefs is small and petty. The show is worst show on tv, along with Discovery. If your a Star Trek Fan, don’t buy this garbage and keep your love for Trek intact

I have no idea what these negative people having their brains. Even Patrick Stewart said that this would be nothing like the original Star Trek. He himself has a huge amount of saying how this show runs. People are so stupid. This is an amazing show that is more like a movie. I highly recommend this show.

Picard was great. 5 stars to Sir Patrick and his new rag tag team!!! 3 stars because the season does not include the “Children Of Mars” short trek which IS on the DVD release. Will change rating when fixed (not charged extra) later. 🖖

I have been a Star Trek fan forever, and I am not understanding the negative-vibe reviews. This series delves into Picard, the man, the former commander, and his life after TNG. It is not supposed to be a continuation of older themes and ideas, so downplaying its relevance in the Star Trek paradigm via senseless, baseless, negative reviews is simply unhinged. The bottom line is that this series stands on its own merits, so for any true Star Trek fan, sit back, grab a bowl of popcorn, and enjoy a binge watch. Cheers!
  • Thoroughly enjoyed!!

Yes it may not be everyone's Next Gen, but take it as a new series, with fan service and more action, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
