This award-winning, thrilling story is about a group of discarded kids who revolutionized skateboarding and shaped the attitude and culture of modern day extreme sports. Featuring old skool skating footage, exclusive interviews and a blistering rock soundtrack, DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS captures the rise of the Zephyr skateboarding team from Venice's Dogtown, a tough "locals only" beach with a legacy of outlaw surfing.

graceful movie that moves and inspires a code of living, craft and fun. Skateboarding history from surfing. Great soundtrack too. You feel the best of everything has gone and been done before. These guys were Originals.

A great film, these guys were legends to us skateboarders in Ireland in late 70's .... thru the US Skateboarder mag and later the UK Skateboard! mag and a few great US books at the time... A fascinating and detailed look at the scene.

This film / documentary is amazing! You'll want to buy this movie, it gives a great in-depth story behind the true original skaters, whom we all have to bow and say "we're not worthy!"
