Description

“Vanderpump Rules” returns for season three with yet another explosive wave of shocking betrayals, bold confrontations and petty grudges. Lisa Vanderpump is once again flanked by SUR staffers Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Kristen Doute, Scheana Marie, Tom Sandoval and former server Stassi Schroeder, along with Ariana Madix and Tom Schwartz. Lisa is looking to expand her empire with the opening of PUMP, a swanky lounge in the heart of West Hollywood, but she has to work harder than ever to ensure that both PUMP and SUR succeed. While Lisa has been putting the finishing touches on her new hot spot, her current and former SUR staffers continue to lead entangled lives.

Love this show. If you spent your 20's working hard for your career & missed all that 20-something psycho-drama; get your fix here. (Although Ajax & Kristin have a case of delayed development.) Real or not, I love their antics and dilemmas. Hope they appreciate it when they're 40-something and I really hope none of them end up working at a dive bar in Vegas @ 40.

Forcing the Plot

One of the things I loved about this show was that it centered around Stassi. Her fashion choices and her witty lines were half the reason why this show was so good. Unfortunately, with this season, it seems like they're allowing her to take a back seat while forcing plot points onto the remaining cast. The incidences all seem to be fabricated by the production team. Additionally, we are left with Schaena as the "queen bee" whose general appeal is less than attractive. Her fashion choices make her look like a 13 year old girl experimenting with bad lipstick colors while rummaging through her older sister's closet for something to make her look sexy. It's pathetic. The story line is boring and the appeal Jax and Kristin once had is all but gone. Oh and who let JAMES on the show??? I feel dirty just looking at him. I would finish this review, but a shower seems more appealing at the moment...

Just out of sheer curiosity, and to think maybe they changed the format, I gave it another shot. Shame on me. It’s horrendous, same fakery every other nonsensical reality show out there displays. The characters are not worth watching and Jax is King TOOL of this mess. Not one redeeming quality and unless you are a glutton for punishment, would I ever subject my friends to this garbage.
