Description

FX’s original comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is back for a 8th season this Fall, so get ready for more depraved schemes from Philly’s favorite bar owners! The Gang returns to Paddy’s Pub with Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito). Last season, The Gang lived it up at the Jersey Shore, Frank married a hooker, and Mac got very, very fat. This season, stay tuned to see The Gang go to therapy, hunt for Nazi treasure, and try to undermine Philly’s toughest union – the trashmen! Charlie and Dee find love, Frank re-enters the business world, and Dee blurs the lines between the real and virtual worlds when she falls into an obsession with computer games. Get ready for even more disagreements, disunion and divisiveness as The Gang tries once again to scheme their way to happiness!

Reviews

  • Great season. Shut up about the ads.

Guys these reviews are supposed to be about the quality of the show and not the commercials in the beginning and end that allow this show to be offered at a cheaper price. Those who gave it 1 star are ridiculous, ads are only annoying in the middle of a show, also skipping the ads is significantly easier than writing a 1 star review about the ads. This season is epic with episodes like "The gang gets analyzed" and "Charlies mom has cancer"
  • Why only in canada right now?

How come I'm not able to buy season 9? It's only available in the canada itunes store. What's up with that? Will it be like this every week? When will I be able to buy it? For the past day I've been trying to give you money itunes, you should be all over that. Yet for some reason, I still have my money... Don't you want my money?

It's a 20 second add on in the beginning then uninterrupted viewing all the way through... Great show hasn't lost a step... And I love the throwbacks to old jokes and episodes

I will admit this season was not the best out of all of them.... But it was still AMAZING! This show makes me laugh until I cry. I don't know why this show isn't recognized more. I love Charlie Day and Danny Devito and Kaitlin Olson and Glen Howerton and Rob Mcelhenny. This show is so funny in its own way. They don't try hard to be funny it just comes naturally. This show is my favorite

Hands down the best season of Sunny. Each character has been developed phenomenally well.
  • What ads?

The only "ads" I got were 30 second network introductions for FX at the very beginning. Idk about you guys, but if it's a short network intro scene— it's not an advertisement. It's a super-brief opening that has the network's name in it. Which I don't blame them for, considering they own the show and have licensed it to other networks so generously that they made TV history in doing so… I guess I can sorta see how 30 seconds at the start could make some people annoyed? I guess…? But it really is not at all a big deal enough to give a 1-star review and act like they put commercials in the programming. They haven't. It's worth a 1 star dock at most. Get a hold on yourselves.
  • Advertisements really?

I loove this show but FX putting ads into the downloads themselves is ridiculous I don't agree with that at all.
  • Ad's have got to go

I love this show, it witty, quotable, and always a joy to watch. I've bought seasons 1-3, but after seeing the reviews about FX attaching advertisements to the episodes, it's become an instant NO GO for me. Email FX directly, post on their FB page, tell them you're unhappy.
