Description

Entering its seventh and final season, the critically acclaimed and multiple award-winning comedy series "30 Rock" is told through the comedic voice of Emmy and two-time Golden Globe winner Tina Fey as variety show producer Liz Lemon. The series also features two-time Emmy and three-time Golden Globe winner Alec Baldwin as top network executive Jack Donaghy and Emmy nominee Tracy Morgan as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star of Lemon’s variety show, "TGS with Tracy Jordan." Lemon constantly has her hands full, juggling corporate interference from Donaghy and off-the-handle star antics from Jordan, all while attempting to salvage her own personal life. Also rounding out the cast are three-time Emmy nominee Jane Krakowski as Jenna Maroney, the co-star of "TGS"; Scott Adsit as the variety show's producer Pete Hornberger; Emmy nominee Jack McBrayer as Kenneth, the over-eager and effortlessly endearing NBC page; Judah Friedlander as Frank, the sardonic slacker on the writing staff; and Keith Powell as Toofer, the sophisticated yet sarcastic, Harvard-alum writer. "30 Rock" has welcomed an impressive array of guest stars, including Elaine Stritch, who garnered a 2007 Emmy Award for her performance as Jack Donaghy’s mother and Tim Conway, who won in 2008. Other Emmy-nominated guest stars include Alan Alda, Jennifer Aniston, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Steve Buscemi, Margaret Cho, Matt Damon, Edie Falco, Carrie Fisher, Jon Hamm, Steve Martin and Rip Torn. Throughout the seasons, "30 Rock" has garnered 90 Emmy nominations, resulting in 14 wins. In 2009, the show won its third consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series and also held the record for most comedy program Emmy nominations in a single year with 22 nominations. "30 Rock" has also won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series Comedy or Musical, a Screen Actor’s Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, three Producers Guild Danny Thomas Producer of the Year Awards in Comedy Episodic Television, three Writers Guild Awards (WGA) for Writing for a Comedy Series and three WGA Awards for Episodic Comedy, and a Television Critics Association Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

Man, I love this show. Hate that many have given up on it but I'll love and miss it forever. It amazes me how consistent it really is. As Rolling Stone said, it is indeed the most clever sitcom, completely underrated (even though it won a lot of Emmys, SAGs and Golden Globes) season 7 might have actually been my favourite, every episode delivered! The writing has just always been top notch, an average of 9 jokes per minute! So much humour in 30 minutes, even Fey admits that can be hard to ascertain but overall, what a fantastic series! Thank you for gracing our screens.

I feel that after watching the last epsiode of "30 Rock", I finally see that it was ready to be taken off properly. The ratings of last season were not that good and the storyline was becoming weak. Me and my sister started watching 30 Rock last year, and I have deeply fallen in love the whole show. Thanks to Lorne Michaels, Tina Fey, and the rest of the writers who have made a show where the viewers want to connect to the characters on the show. P.S. FOR ALL TINA FEY FANS, DO NOT MISS HER FOR LONG, BECAUSE I HEARD SHE COMING BACK TO NBC FOR ANOTHER NEW SHOW IN JUST A FEW YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO GO TO THERE! ;)

Although the political stuff and too much Ms. Whatsername was a bit distracting this has thus far been a solid last season with some long overdue resolutions finally rewarding long time fans.
