After its critically acclaimed first series, Emmy® Award-winning The West Wing returned for a behind-the-scenes look at another year in the life of the eclectic group of frenzied staffers in the Oval Office. President Josiah Bartlet (Emmy® Award winner Martin Sheen) has been shot, along with his deputy chief of staff, Josh Lyman (Emmy® Award winner Bradley Whitford), leading to many personal and professional crises for them and for Bartlet's administration. The premiere, Christmas episode and final episode this year all won individual Emmy® Awards.

Never seen any tv or movie as good as this... This is as good as it gets! Clever, funny, witty, informative, exciting, and thrilling!!! Love all the series!
  • No HD? And no Episode 1?!

    By the 80s kid
This is a great series (probably the best season of TWW) but why is there no HD version available? The other six seasons are available in HD. And why is the first episode missing? Come on iTunes Store - please sort this out - this is no way to treat the best season of one of the best TV shows of the last ten years!
  • Where on earth is episode 1??

Is it me, or are we missing the first episode?
  • Forget the price- TV at its finest!

    By Robstar30
Put simply this is one of the finest seasons of a television series ever produced. From the dramatic opening to the simultaneously heartbreaking and uplifting finale it rarely puts a foot wrong. The script, acting, and direction are all utterly flawless. The West Wing is a stunning example of TV at its finest and this particular season is, in my humble opinion, unquestionably its crowning glory.

It just does not get any better than this. Superb acting but the writing is just supreme. Buy it today, crate of ale, turn off the phone and enjoy. Magnificent!!!!!!
  • Simply the best TV drama

    By Harling
The West Wing has become the benchmark for TV dramas. The wit, rapid fire dialogue and vivacious story telling make it enchanting to watch. I've tried getting into other programs but find myself returning to the familiar faces of the Bartlet administration. In reviewing the prices online for the complete series box set, It's a shame that iTunes hasn't got the pricing right in this instance.
  • rip off price

The show is great but the price on itunes is simply foolish. You can buy the full 'seven seasons box set' for £50 on the high street currently. Why pay £32 for only one season?
  • Some of the best TV ever made

Series 1 - 4 of the West Wing is sublime television. Series 5 - 7 are almost as good. Almost. By series 2 the programme is really getting into its stride. There is not a weak episode, at the top of the list are the opening two episodes, followed closely by The Stackhouse Filibuster. My five stars are for the series. The price however is nothing short of a disgrace. Just so you know you can now get all seven series in a box set for just under £50 on As they say - you do the math.
  • Excellent but

I love this series, it's an amazing piece of writing with some brilliantly performed characters. There is essentially nothing at all wrong with this series. But I have a little issue here, and for once it's not the fairly outlandish price, it's the how come there's only two series here and has only been two series for about a year? what happened to the other five? Are Warner just lazy? Perhaps their not getting the expected sales through this channel (maybe they should look at their pricing). If anyone from Warner bothers to read this, please do something about it. In the mean time everyone that would like the space saving convenience and direct purchase that iTunes allows in order to own this series can I suggest all writing to Warner about it. I will.
