Description

Most gangs have one black sheep; this gang has five. Don't miss Danny DeVito's return to television. Charlie (Day), Mac (McElhenney), Dennis (Howerton), and Sweet Dee (Olson) return for another season at Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia, where their constant scheming to get ahead by not-so-redeemable methods usually lands them in a world of hurt. The second season features Frank Reynolds (DeVito) as Dennis and Dee's estranged father. Frank tries to reconnect with his children and rekindle his misspent youth while in the middle of a divorce from their mother, Barbara Reynolds, played by Anne Archer.

    Every episode I have seen has cracked me up, even though I have not seen a huge number of episodes. I thought the flip-flop kid on the gang gives back was pretty funny. Frank might be my favorite character (Danny DeVito does a great job as Frank), but the rest of the gang is pretty funny, too. I am almost in high school and this is definitely my favorite show.

    The Gang Gives Back, all the way. The way Dennis talks to the kids, especially the kid, in the Flip Flops, totally makes the episode.

    This season has got to be my favorite with episodes like "Dennis and Dee go on Welfare" and " Charlie Goes America...". This is a must have for those who are not easily offended and who enjoy a little sarcasm with their humor.

  • "Seinfeld" Moves to Philly and Gets Raunchy

    A "Seinfeld" for the 2000 decade: three slacker dudes and their slacker female friend wreak havoc in the City of Brotherly Love. The result is crude, outrageous, lough-out-loud comedy. The addition of Danny Devito in Season 2 strains the "believability" of the show, but Devito makes up for it with his hilariously unfatherly father character. These five Philidelphians--who don't appear to have a single redeeming quality among them--constantly dream up moneymaking schemes, seduction plots, and plans for revenge against each other while occasionally finding the time to tend their bar. Watch, laugh, and love Dennis, Dee, Charlie, Mac and Frank in spite of themselves.
