Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) never planned to be Gotham’s new vigilante. Three years after Batman mysteriously disappeared, Gotham is a city in despair. Without the Caped Crusader, the Gotham City Police Department was overrun and outgunned by criminal gangs. Enter Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) and his military-grade Crows Private Security who now protect the city. Years before, he sent his daughter, Kate, away from Gotham for her safety. But now, she’s back, and she’s done asking for permission. In order to help her family and her city, she’ll have to become the one thing her father loathes – a dark knight vigilante. Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate soars through the shadowed streets of Gotham as Batwoman. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, she must first overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.

  • This is just bad

    By Yippie! 1983
Bad story telling. Bad cinematography. Bad stunts. Bad cgi, it’s just, just bad.

  • Repeat of other Arrowverse shows

    By The skuxy guy
Was good at the start of the pilot episode, but it just copies the other shows from the plot to the all the cringe scenes. Gonna give it a miss.
  • Amazing, stop being negative people!

This is amazing, I don’t understand why anyone would not like this. Stop being so negative! 🦇👩🏻‍🦰

  • Another great add to CW lineup

    By malau noye
Great addition and kudos for CW on making another action packed show. Ruby Rose plays a stoic role perfectly to keep a bat heroine in character. The storylines keep me sticking to the show. Well done.
  • Batwoman is not running for president, conservitves need to calm down.

First, I want to address the negative reviews, and a encourage everyone to take a look at them as well, it's pretty obvious they're trolls, and not legitimate. There are very few, that seem to be a genuine reaction to viewing the show, but instead are vapid, and unbased polticial rhetoric. Several containing trigger words like "PC" and "SJW". Unable to articulate what they don't like about it. When you see comments that contain these types of "Criticisms" rest assured that you're reading a review written by a YouTube conspiracy addled troglodyte, not worth the mindessly regurgiated internet slop they're taught to parrot. These are literally people, that think any appearence of a lesbian in media, is a personal affront to them... That said, I like the show! I've actually been reading Detective Comics, for years as a subscriber. Until fairly recently, BatWoman was a major part of the story arc, because she's a dark and complex character with an uncertain path. See "Fall of the Batmen". The show nails the character, in both appearence, and personality, and could not have been cast better. Yes, she is a lesbian in the comics, which have been going on for years, so some new twist they added to make it appeal to any certain demo. (Note to Incels, you're not limited to enjoying media only with characters that resemble you, though a lot of other people have been until more recently...) If you're actually a fan of the character, you'll love it. If you're able to allow yourself to enjoy things, instead of seeing every aspect of everything as a personal attack on your politics, you're going to love it.
  • Garbage

    By edgelord98
Complete and total SJW garbage. This was written by amateurs who clearly didn’t pass English 101 in school because if they did they’d know how to write well. And this show is written terribly. Worst tv show ever made I’m not even exaggerating
  • Keep it going

Like this much better than Arrow ... good cast and acting all around (surprisingly, Beth/Alice is awesome!) with a good story line that has layers and depth. Love it!

Just watch a Batman movie. Literally any Batman movie compared to this mindless drivel
