  • Mixed.

The last few episodes were rushed in terms of writing and needed to be fleshed out more? AGREED. The last few episodes destroyed the characters and ruined the story? NO. 100% sure that all the people who say they ruined Daenerys weren’t actually watching the show. Or maybe they were distracted??? Because there have been a lot of hints she was going to end up as an antagonist from the very beginning. Just because she’s pretty and has cool dragons does not a hero make. Sure they went from subtle hints to heavy handed explicitness in the space of one episode and maybe needed to pace it out better but it’s always been there.

Ignore the criticism from angry kids and enjoy the finale to a grand series. It’s not the best season but nowhere near as bad as some people say. A satisfying conclusion.

It was great. Big battles, amazing sets and fitting storylines that both surprise yet leave a sense of inevitability and roughness with you. I enjoyed every episode and thought it had a fitting end.
  • So much I adored about this - "never wanted to leave..."

Know many people felt let down by this series, but honestly I loved and adored so very much of it. The first two episodes really are wonderfully done with the various character's meeting again and of course, running out of time with the horrors of battle hurtling towards them. As for the end of the series, it was not the ending was hoping for, but tbh the series has always pulled the rug and upended expectations - and I thought this series told some amazing interveaving compelling stories and drama, and some incredible and horrendous battles and conflicts to add to those in the rest of the series. Never saw the end coming how it did, but then rewatching many of the episodes (especially those first 3 in series 7), there's plenty clues there to signal what lies ahead. Astonishing TV - and a series that I'll enjoy and rewatch many times in the years to come.
  • People need to wind their necks in.

Great shows. They needed to end the series in a way no one could guess, they did just that, slightly rushed but still a great ending too a great show.
  • Lmao it’s quite funny

It’s a bit of a joke compared to the other seasons, but still a great TV show overall. This season was also better than a lot of other shows, it’s just that it kinda let down the other seasons. Also I had a dream last night that the alternate version was released for this season, and I got really really excited 😂😂
  • Shame! Shame! Shame!

D&D should be ashamed of themselves. They ruined a wonderful series. This season is utter garbage.
  • Rushed and Anticlimactic

Wasted potential in what could have been an epic series finale.
  • Rushed, lazy and a means to an end.

Shows a big budget and excellent actors are no replacement for good, coherent writing.
  • I’m sorry guys
