I did not think I was going to like this season after watching the first two episodes, but starting with episode three the show really kicks into high gear and gets much better from there. Newcomer Cody Fern is a great addition to the cast in his role of Michael Langdon. Lots of great stuff in this season and not as twisted as Cult, which I also really liked. Definitely worth watching.

THANK U, AHS!! I seriously have not enjoyed AHS this much since season 5, Hotel! This season has the same feel as Hotel; the HUGE baroque sets, claustrophobia, & sense of dread. Season 6 of AHS does not even xist as far as I am concerned. What a cheap mess that was! Way 2 many characters & stuff going on & the “interviews” with the “real people” docu-style really bogged the entire season down. Season 7 was better, tho not as good as the first 5 seasons. Unlike most of the audience, I appreci8ed the heavy political tones of Cult & Murphy & Falchuck we’re right on the pulse of the fear this country has now. So Apocolypse is officially the 7th season 4 me as I totally diss the Roanoke 1. I am LOVING the sets of this season, the lighting, & the connecting of not just Murder House & Coven But also (SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!) of Hotel. Apocolypse is very much visually pleasing with some pretty cool camera angles & special fx. The dialogue of a couple of characters could use some improvement, (xample, the guy who’s 2Pac Shakur’s twin! Honestly, I SWEAR it’s 2Pac!) but that’s minor. I am love love LOVING Apocalypse!!
  • Should have been called AHS Coven part 2

I kept waiting for more post apocalyptic horror. This season is just a continuation of coven, one of the worst seasons. The beginning was intriguing, and parts of it were okay, but it isn't worth more than 2 stars.
  • One of the best seasons of AHS

ok, My Fav. AHS seasons in order: S5 (Hotel) S1 (Murder House) S8 (Apocalypse) they were fulfilling my expectations, but not the other 5 seasons.

Just watched every episode today. started at 5pm and ended around 1ish. This seasons ties with the first and third season bringing about completely marvelous work. You will truly enjoy this season. Episodes 1-3 are a tad slow but makes sense when the rest plays out. Enjoy!! It’s going to leave you wanting MORE!

TRUST ME, ITS WORTH IT. I truly was intrigued with this season. Apocalypse meets witchcraft. It gets you thinking and after most episodes, you'll rethink what you just watched. Totally worth the money paid for it. A must have season.
