It lacks the story line, that the other seasons had. With Ragnar gone, I will not watch Season 5. It is over in my eyes.

  • S4 - Who ruined it?

    By nycbob
Bought every season. Totally disappointed in S4. What radical feminist vision ruined a great series? So disappointing. Went from great to just grating...
  • Just plain good TV

So, I am normally adverse to paying for anything (except clothes). But this is the first time I have actually paid for a TV show. It is just that awesome. And toally worth it. Go Ragnar!
  • Hokey demise to Ragnar Lothbruk

    By lycophidion
What a hokey piece of crap ending to the saga of Ragnar Lothbruk! I wrote to the producer at the beginning of the series, urging him to forego the fairy-tail demise of Ragnar at the hands of King Aelle, or at least to make it metaphorical. Instead, we were treated to the spectacle of Ragnar plunging to his death in a pit of harmless pythons, boas, kingsnakes, cornsnakes and gopher snakes, none of which are even found in Europe, and most of which are not even found in the "Old World." Nor is this some esoteric bit of knowledge. On the one hand, it demonstrates and perpetuates the woeful ignorance of biodiversity and its importance in our society. On the other, the exotic pet trade unfortunately assures that these animals are fairly widely recognized within the U.S. As far as I'm concerned, this bit of sensationalism thoroughly diminished and detracted from the tale of Ragnar Lothbruk.

What a joke. $37 for season 4. I already paid $10 each for the first 3 seasons. I can subscribe to streampix through comcast and watch every single episode for $4.99 a month. Its a great show but do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to watch it.
  • Captivating

Loved Vikings from the very first episode! Being from Europe and growing up with the saga of the vikings and school trips to vikings themed museums I immediately got thrown back into my childhood years. This show is addictive and captivating! Love it. Thanks, Travis and Co!
  • Wonderful series

This is a fantastic series. We have enjoyed it year after year. If there was one disappointment it came at the end of season 4 here. Why can't there be a strong beautiful female character like Agertha anymore without them being a lesbian/bi? I think if anything it cheapened her character, seemed a bit out of left field, forced and turned her more into a last minute political prop. Like they were checking a box. I'm all for a good LGBT character but come on. Great series on the whole with lots of grit!
