Good story and great quality. Only wish would be for a feature length sequel.

Oh man, they pushed the limits with this one. Needless to say I wish it were longer. I have always loved 2D/3D hybrid animation. Cool story as well.
  • Beautiful, but Cliched in the Worst Way

I wanted to love this - the animation, the character design, the voice acting were beautiful. But the single female character in this made it very clear that this was just a white boy fantasy. She was voluptuous, gorgeous, sexy, clad only in her underwear half the time she appeared on screen, and completely devoid of personality. Her only purpose in the plot was to give the hero a bit of drama, and then to be saved by him in the end (from HIS monster, no less). Completely ruined the whole thing for me.

It's not even 15 minutes long and I couldn't even pay attention. It is a good eye workout though. Mine are sore from rolling them so much at how dumb this was.

This was incredibly cool! I was a little worried that cause it was short that it might have felt rushed but it was far from that. The pacing was perfect for the story that was told. I would love to see more! Be it comic, book, animiation. Such a cool concept!

This is worth every penny in HD. The animation is spectacular. It’s like eating color - tasting every last movement. While I have never been a fan of computer generated works, this is a seamless integration of styles that is truly beautiful to behold. A definite five-star experience.
  • Beautiful animation and music but the poor story execution

Having never seen this artist’s work before, I really love the fluidity of the animation and the music is quite gorgeous. I love music videos and short films and the plot idea here seems interesting - a mix of “Inception" and "The Matrix" - but I’ve seen better executed full-on plots and character development among multiple cast members in amateur animated films that have less than a third of the time length as this one, without voice acting! I like voice acting and the voice acting here was good; my point is that I feel like the film did not make good use of what it had. Sure, it leaves you wanting more and obviously ready to check out the album it’s attached to, but every time I watch this I don’t even feel satisfied with what we got. Neat idea and a good price for a pretty long short film, but not very satisfying as a short film or extra-long music video.
