This movies cgi is terrible. Also Gwen Stacy was way more sexy and hot in the Toby Magyars Spider-Man.
  • Not bad, but not a great Spider-Man movie.

This film falls fait of being a poor reboot of a quite good opening to Spider-Man’s film legacy. Andrew Garfield is a good actor, but he is too old to be portraying a teenager. The villain’s plot is weak, and looks a little weird with the visual effects of the time. A fun watch, but nothing worth writing home about.

  • I don’t get the hype about this version

I don’t get the hype about this version, it was hard to watch. I found all but the last 15 min of the film boring and fast forwarded through most of it 🤷🏾‍♀️.

  • Upon Rewatch: What Did I Like About This?

Despite the title, there is still a lot I like upon rewatching it recently. However, there is also so much that I absolutely hate. I did not expect this movie to make me as mad as it did. It just got so much wrong about Peter Parker and Spider-Man. It’s a bit weird to say that in an age when the Spider-Man fandom has lost their minds, but this time, it’s true. Peter’s just a complete jerk, learns nothing from his mistakes, and is the furthest from responsible you can imagine. Not to mention the movie’s baffling amount of underdeveloped plot points and the fact that things in the story just kinda…happen. There’s not much that makes sense here. And the main question I asked myself is: why did I ever like this before? 3/10
