Rango

Rango wasn't a animated film that i have ever exprienced before this film feels let loose and more to the point. Johnny Depp does a excellent job playing the titled character Rango and Rango is very dark, hailrious and the movie is filled with course humor and takes it too seriously. Then you got Gore Vorbinski who directed the Pirates of the Caribbean films and The Ring and Vorbinski really made this film look like a real western instead of a kids movie because i thought the music was fantastic (Hans Zimmer), the action was silly and over the top, the casting choices were fine they didn't just put the actors in a sound booth they did it in a real set and created character with the actors which was smart and impressive.

One of my favorite animated movies! So funny, I love it!

this movie is AWFUL

What makes "Rango", well, "Rango" is that it really has no genre to it (besides Western). While most hail it as a comedy, I really don't know myself. It's such a creative and odd film, but sometimes go too far on the weird level, and also takes a while to explain its plot. However, it's forgiven by its spectactular animation and amazing storyline, not to mention Johnny Depp's performance. The animation almost makes you think it's all motion-capture, but it's not! Oh man... so great. Check it out, I recommend.
