In 2006, having toured the world over, Sigur Rós return home to play a series of free, unannounced concerts in Iceland. Heima is a unique record of that tour, filmed in 16 locations across the island, taking in the biggest and smallest shows of the band's career.

This was as up close as you're going to get with Sigur Ros. This was so inspiring and beautiful that there isn't any words that can describe it. The are the modern day mozarts and van gogh's!
  • beauty.

This is one of my favorite movies ever, even though it's a documentary. I'm addicted to Sigur Ros now, and I've been listening to them for months. Their music is beautiful, transcendent, relaxing, and heart breaking. It's just wonderful.

This is probably the best music documentary I have ever seen. Its extremely peaceful and low key but Sigur Ros's music and the visuals of iceland bring you to a place that looks untouched by the troubles of man.

This is the perfect (music) documentary. From "Glosoli" to "Olsen Olsen" to the stunning, "Vonn," this film sold me on Sigur Ros. I discovered it totally by accident on IFC about 3 years ago. I've been a fan ever since and there's no going back now. Someone wrote on YT, "When I die, I don't want to go to heaven. I want to go to Iceland.". Truer words have never been spoken.
