    I hate this movie, just as I hated the book. Do insane people create hellish situations or does the insanity of the situation give rise to a leader who is appropriately mad? I don' care.

    Being a fan of Coppola & Brando I decided to take a risk & buy Apocalypse Now which I knew nothing about & I have to say I made a mistake, I'm not even at the end yet & I'm already ready to turn it off, still no sign of Brando which from what I saw in the trailers has the only good parts, braise the rest is outright boring.

    Apocalypse now, is by far one of the greatest movies of all time. Not becuz it's a war movie, but becuz it's about what war can do to a person. And this movie shows that perfectly. It's not just about the fight around the soldiers like most war movies, but the fight within themselves. This movie was unlike any other. =)
