Based in South Central, Los Angeles, this comedy with a strong hip-hop soundtrack features Craig (Ice Cube - "Boyz in the Hood," "Are We There Yet?"), who manages to get fired on his day off (though he claims it's through no fault of his own) and spends the day hanging out with his buddy Smokey (Chris Tucker - "Rush Hour" franchise, "The Fifth Element") and trying to avoid his father (John Witherspoon - "Boomerang," "Little Man"), who wants him to find another job immediately. Smokey (whose name might have something to do with his tremendous fondness for marijuana) has even more serious of a problem; he was given $200 worth of weed to sell by Big Worm (Faizon Love - "Elf," "Who's Your Caddy?"), but he ended up smoking it instead, and if he can't come up with the money by the end of the day, he'll be in a world of hurt and will put Craig in the same place just for being his friend. Also written by Ice Cube.

  • Ice Cube Destroyed your childhood

Ice cube only has himself to blame for not making the fourth Friday movie happening, no matter how many times and how hard he talked about it, He lied to all of you. The fourth Friday movie was filled with defamation and lies, this should be illegal, new line cinema should cut ties with ice cube and should dismiss the fourth Friday movie transcript because ice cube has waited too long to make the movie to happen after John whiterspoon and tiny Zeus lister jr passed away. I don’t recommend watching any of the Friday films, I can no longer watch them for all the lies ice cube has caused for him to deceive his fans. To New Line Cinema, if you’re reading this review, drop Ice Cube, period.

I use to like this when I was a teenager but now that I’m grown AF I feel ashamed of liking it in the first place . Only brainless , immature and ignorant minded people would describe this movie as the greatest movie . just like the ones on this review thread🤦🏽‍♂️

Friday is a jolly good time whatever the cost this film had. This comedy made me laugh to start to end this is how a comedy is made not with a bang but with a hallrious outtake.
