Carmen and Wayne Colson were in the wrong place at the wrong time. But now they’ve seen too much and Armand “The Blackbird” Degas, a half Ojibway Indian, half French Canadian hit man, doesn’t like loose ends. So after witnessing a failed extortion attempt, an innocent couple is on the run, and even the Witness Protection Program doesn’t seem to be enough to keep The Blackbird and his partner Richie Nix off their trail. Killshot is the latest adaptation from Elmore Leonard, the master thriller writer who also gave us Out of Sight and Get Shorty. The film is being produced by Richard Gladstein (Finding Neverland, The Cider House Rules, The Bourne Identity), Executive Produced by Quentin Tarantino (Sin City, Kill Bill, Vol 1 and Vol 2, Pulp Fiction) and directed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love, Best Picture Oscar winner in 1998). Starring Diane Lane (Unfaithful, Under the Tuscan Sun), Mickey Rourke (Sin City, 9 1/2 Weeks), and Rosario Dawson (Rent, Sin City, Alexander).

Overall a good movie. Not nearly worth the 15 bucks though.

I love this movie. It's a thrilling story acted by immensely talented people. It's definitely worth watching.
  • First Rate Acting & Great adaptation of a classic Leonard tale

The story line of the movie is a bit obscure if one hasn't read or listened to the book. However, the action and acting is first rate and follows Elmore Leanord's signature dialogue rich and gritty narration. Rourk's portrayal of the professional hitman fits the character as drawn by Leanord. As a matter of fact I thought the fit for all the cast was close to perfect. The matter of fact casual violence and stupid fuzzy thinking rational of the characters comes through in the dialogue. I've watched it several times and found the entertainment value of the movie sustained at each viewing. It puzzles me that many viewers were so disappointed in the piece. It felt gritty and real and I would recommend it.

Hey I thought this was a pretty decent movie. Loved the music in it from low. Ill admit it was a lil short for my taste. It was defiently interesting.
  • Popular actors dosent make the movie good!!!

Read all the other reviews before you read mine. Now take all the others and put them all in one review and you have my opinion. The movie did have an excellent cast but we are to smart for that. They think they can throw a bunch of well known actors in a movie and make it good? This has to be the biggest dissapointment of the decade!!!

  • Just Bad, save your money!

I figured that with a decent cast this movie would be a least entertaining. I was very wrong. This goes on my list of top ten worst movies, a great example of how to throw together a movie with a very undeveloped plot to make money. I get it, the point is to make money, but please do not waste your money on it. There is some ok acting, but still not worth your time.
