This movie is great. I love every part of it and i feel its a great representation of what can and could happen in and under military order.

First off I am very grateful for Apple for lowering prices on these older videos; this was $4.99 a week ago, and yet now $9.99, so the whole world had the opportunity to buy it half of what it is now at still a discount price. I almost did but something held me back. Even though a decent movie, I decided not wanting to buy, partly cause I have seen it too much and partly cause my ex-Marine mentality sees through this hog wash ridiculous film and that Tom Cruise could never ever pass being in the Navy nor the US Marines. Anyway, it was a great price, but no way would I pay $10 for it.....wish they would discount more older movies for $4.99 such as those old 1940 or 1050s great movies...film noir.

I never get tired of watching this film, and I believe Tom Cruise was never better. It was perfectly cast and the passion in the film is something you become part of. I only wish there were more films like this one.

Why can't I rent it? Would love to see it again, but don't want to buy it!
