Join fan favorites Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt for the adventure of a lifetime on Disney’s “Jungle Cruise,” a rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.

Talk about poor casting. These two actors, Emily and Dwayne just don’t fit. The movie wasn’t bad it just wasn’t as good as it could have been, IMHO.
  • Soooo boring

You can tell right away this story was a typical cliche. I didn’t expect much from a movie made from a amusement park ride, but even my kids didn’t want to watch it.

Definitely a movie to watch! It will keep you on the edge of your seat, especially with the cast…. Very interesting:)
  • Good fun!

Puzzled by all the angry (?) one star reviews. I didn’t have high expectations but was thoroughly entertained. I know Blunt and the Rock are the big stars, but Jesse Plemons (who plays the villain) stole the show for me.
  • Haven’t watched it

Repeatedly stopped the film, then watched a bit more, and couldn’t finish it. Outlandish
  • The Combo of Johnson and Blunt are the Guide to this Cruise 🚢

This movie was the Collab of Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt! The Dialogue may be somewhat Milk-Toast, and the visual effects left things to be desired but it still works for it’s worth! Welcome to the Jungle!
  • Funny

D.J. Is funny as usual, if you are looking for goofy/dorky/clean jokes along with silly crazy adventure, then this movie just might be for you, it was cute
  • Terrible Disney ride

Movie felt very fake and the CGI is not up to par. Water and jungle scenes from the movie Anaconda are more believable than this.
  • Surprisingly Amazed!

From beginning to end the movie feels like a roller coaster ride. I was a bit hesitant about watching this film, because of the many bad reviews surrounding it, but I LOVED IT. Watching it with my mom, made me happy that she was excited about the beautiful sceneries and jungle animals popping up here and there. This movie is made for children, the plot is easy to understand, and the writing was a bit corny, but it’s okay, it’s an entertaining watch! Give it a shot, currently free on Disney +. Watch it with family especially children or your mother, you’ll be happy with how excited they will get throughout the movie like I was:)
