For the first time ever, screen legends Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan face off against each other in this epic fantasy-adventure! In order to save his homeland from certain doom, a kung fu master (Chan) must escape from the maniacal James Hook (Schwarzenegger) in order to send his daughter a secret talisman that will allow her to control a massive and mythical dragon. This larger-than-life, globe-trotting tale — ranging from the impenetrable Tower of London to the fabled Silk Road and China's Great Wall — also stars Rutger Hauer in one of the screen icon's final performances.

This movie has so many stars and yet, it is unwatchable. Yes, it is so awful that I could not stomach watching it all the way through.

Does not live up to American standards. B class....perhaps C...
  • Woooow

I LOVE watching Jackie Chan, but this was by far the worst movie he’s been in. And he was the best part! The name of the movie has NOTHING TO DO WITH WHERE IT GOES! The “iron mask” is completely irrelevant to the story line. And to be completely honest, this movie doesn’t even have a concrete story line! It jumps around all over the place! Jackie was only in the beginning of the movie and at the end. Everything was terrible!! The story line made absolutely no sense!! Just terrible! Woooooow!

  • What a waste of Talent

I think a chimp on meth directed this movie. With Jackie and Arnold you could have done so much more. Save your money and time.
  • Horrible translation/dub and no option for original sound

    By Tmusser
It’s a pity that’s so little effort was made in the English dubbing. You can clearly tell the translation is poor as well. If the original Chinese audio track was available with subtitles I’m sure it would’ve been much better.
  • Oh man this movie was bad

At least it was Better than Cats, but just as convoluted and insane. Find another movie for $10 just not this one. Sorry Jackie.
  • So bad its funny.

Like a new pair of shoes that must be broken in... that is how I approached this film... that is until Arnold spoke. Then I just took off the shoes and said to myself, maybe later. Enough of the analogies... the movie story was entertaining and really done well. The voice over from clearly an asian release was horrific. Worse than 40 years ago, yes, that bad. Jackie Chan was terrific as always, with the fantastic artwork and Asian culture filling the screen with immersive action and story sequences but the sound and voice-over work ruins it entirely. Subtitles would have served it much better. My only reason to give it 2 and not 5 stars is when Schwarzenegger decides to speak... and even worse... attempts to be funny. But the sound and voice work that is so embarrassing, bad and humiliating, it made me laugh one star up.
