Injured and suffering from amnesia, Jake is rescued by Wylie (Nicolas Cage), Keung and his team of fellow Jiu Jitsu fighters. As with any and many of Nicholas Cages’ movie wait for it to come on TV. I’m so irritated I spent money on this. Was it a game, was it a comic book? I don’t know, but it wasn’t a made for the theater movie.
  • Are you Puzzled?

    By storytellerstudios
Nicokas Cage asks Alain Moussi, "Are you puzzled...you look puzzled?" This best describes my response to "Jiu Jitsu"...I'm puzzled... by the plot, the acting and the fight sequences. Alain Moussi is actually an amazing athlete who can fill up a screen with his fighting skill, but the choreography given to him here is sub par. The first half of the movie is filled with action that depends on close shots and irratic editing. Jake, Alain's character, is stiff and consistently "puzzled" looking. The special effects are mediocre as is the musical score. Final verdict: Not a good movie.

  • Not much Nic Cage

This is a bit of a bait and switch... Nic Cage is barely in this movie.

  • Horrible - worst since Gymkata

    By Texasbluehen
This is the worst martial arts movie I have ever seen since Gymkata. Horrible script and terrible acting. It’s just a bunch of random martial arts scenes strung together. Choreography is bad at times - seeing some extras falling before getting hit. Also you’d be questioning why soldiers didn’t have guns in some scenes and when they did, why they were not able to land a single shot.
  • Subpar plot; dizzy cinematography

    By Emarquez13
This movie dragged. Sadly it’s just another paycheck for Nic Cage. The on-screen conversations drag too long. And the cinematography is all over the place. Fighting angles go from first person to third person back and forth over and over resulting into an unsatisfying dizzying mess.
