The cast has great chemistry, it has some lighthearted moments, some serious moments, the dialogue is funny when it needs to be and there’s a good amount of action to add. It’s like a funnier version of Fargo. Worth every penny!

I enjoyed this movie. It’s different, but good. I’ve read reviews people find it hard to follow. So I turned on captions so I didn’t miss out on anything said. I could follow the movie. Someone reviewed it wasn’t real.. it’s a Movie. A Fake Movie.. it’s not real. LoL But it’s a pretty good story.. I would recommend it. I purchased it, and watched it more than once, so it has entertained me. Everyone has different taste in movies but if you like the actors you will probably like this movie..

Honestly I feel like 2020 was such a horrible year that people overlook this masterpiece of a film. Not only is it an original film, unlike the lazy sequels that Hollywood continues to produce, but it has a fantastic cast of actors that perform at an Oscar worthy level throughout the film.

Honestly one of my favorite movies ever. If you like snatch, you’ll love this movie. Peak Guy Ritchie. Great story, great acting, Colin Ferrell was awesome. Every character compliments the others very well. I can go on forever how much I like this movie. Buy it, you will watch again and again.
  • Acting is forced & The Movie is all over the place

I’m not sure if it’s the unbelievable role Matthew plays or just the confusion of the story. While I do get the main plot there where just a lot of unanswered questions. Also the acting was very dull and bland. This film could be way better if the acting was better. The characters seem very unrealistic and lame to me. Seem like they try to hard to act like “gangsters”. I wouldn’t waste my time watching this again willingly

I need more than 5 stars to rate this movie appropriately! This is a movie I will watch over and over and over and NEVER get bored of it! Phenomenal story, phenomenal cast chemistry and a thrill ride from start to finish! Don’t rent it because you’ll turn around and spend more money buying it. Save yourself the money and just buy it!!

  • Antisemitism at the core of the plot

The movie’s main antagonist is a haggling, cheating, rich Jew. The vanquishing hero demands “a pound of flesh” from him, turning the tables on this Shylock (the Jewish character in the Merchant of Venice who famously makes this demand). Really? I invite you to explore the antisemitic tropes at the core of this movie. There is also lot of casual racism played for laughs in a Cockney accent.
