It was NOT as bad as everyone says

Is it a little slower? Yes. But seeing Blake transform into this character and explore her backstory is interesting. Don’t think it’s Atomic Blonde or Red Sparrow or a female Jason Bourne it’s different but in a good way

I honestly thought the movie was going to be stupid. I hope they make a part 2.

Slow burn, no action whatsoever!
You don’t feel any emotions towards Blake Lively, Jude Law did a decent job with what he had. Overall this movie is a 1.5 out of 5
This movie is perfect if you were doing laundry on a Sunday afternoon and it played in the background! Rent only!!!
Not bad

The posts saying horrible are a stretch. The movie is not “horrible”. It’s ok. It’s worth watching, but either rent it or wait to purchase it when the price comes down.
much better than the rating and reviews indicate

I am sorry to have to question the sanity and judgment of the kids (daughter and step-son) of one of the two original producers of the original James Bond series (Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli) — those kids being Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson; but they produced this thing.
So that’s exactly what I have to do, having wasted a fraction of my life sitting through this deadly boring and totally artless piece of trash. View it at your own risk. It is a one sentence done-to-death “plot”line stretched seemingly into infinity. It just proves how inherited money and a lack of talent and enough intellect will inevitably produce mediocrity.
Very a dry and No “ rhythm”

I really wanted to like this movie. But the harshness of Stephanie's prostitution and heroin addiction was so real and dark it took away from my expectations and created a very dark sobering mood. Even once we got past this phase her “shakiness” on carrying out her revenge seemed to make her more weak looking than someone on a mission of redemption. This film could have been so much more. I didn’t hate it but would not watch again. Felt depressing...
Not Bond or Bourne

A typical neophyte assassin revenge plot. Probably no surprise Jude Law is the mentor, Blake Lively the neophyte. Ms. Lively's performance is outstanding, Mr. Law delivers. A good supporting roll from Sterling Brown rounds out the cast. Directed by Reed Morano I expected complex shots, blocking, and cinematography.
Ms. Morano's directing, combined with Sean Bobbit's camera work made for a very intimate view of the main characters. The first act is almost too close, but once you find yourself in the second and third acts, all is well. Strong intimacy with the characters is maintained as the film progresses, but strong dynamic camera work that expands the sense of place and scale giving us a better view of the action builds the scope of the film to it's finish.
If you're looking for a classic Bond or Bourne action thriller, watch that. This film gives you more character along with good story. The film finishes with all the action you could ask for.
After reading the negative reviews I hesitated. But I took the chance, thinking I'd see something different, and I did. I'd watch it again.

Does not really have a story
And there was NOTHING about the plane crash.
Just blake lively looking homeless 24/7.
