I fell asleep in the movie theatre. Slow drag and waste of time.
You gotta get all the way to the end.
I almost turned it off thinking it was just a bunch of costumy shots. Sooo glad I didn’t. After a while, it gets more and more interesting. By the end, if you don’t mind some gore, it might be one of the best movies you’ve ever seen. Seems guys love it and women not so much, though I am a woman and I was thrilled at the end. Totally thrilled.
Great acting, great atmosphere and props but this movie has no real story, no purpose, no anything, it is just an empty thing full of wonderful acting and props.
Five stars for the acting and atmosphere, zero stars for everything else.
Tarantino has become an overhyped director and I have no clue why. Time for him to move on and leave the stage to new blood.
Boring and nonsensical!
Boring and slow
This movie was boring and slow and depressing.
A masterpiece for the future generations
This movie is going to be a hell of a masterpiece in 30/40 years, as for now its a pretty boring movie where most of the scenes don’t add anything to the plot of the movie they just show how Hollywood was operating in the 70s and 80s which can be entertaining to watch if you were born 50 years from now.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Fantastic movie! I’ve seen it three times. Combines humor and Sixties nostalgia with a what-could-have-been alternative to a truly tragic event. Very entertaining from start to end.
why did this story get told!
It’s a classic
It’s a movie for people who truly love cinema. If you’re expecting some Kill Bill level action, it’s not for you.
People are so clueless..
If you are completely oblivious or ignorant to the Charles Manson horror story from 1969, you probly won’t like this movie...it will go floating right over your little head...if you haven’t been living under a rock or on Facebook every second of your life you will enjoy it..some great references to the real story and even a scene where Manson makes an appearance, casing out the Sharon Tate residence...Leo and Brad were great throughout, and if you’re not skiddish when it comes to violence, you might end up watching the last 20 minutes 3 times like I did
