From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the grand live-action adventure Dumbo expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V. A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside the charming and spectacular aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green)—until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Dumbo isn’t my personal favorite movie but I have to admit this remake is pretty good! It’s an enjoyable film to watch.
  • This was not good.

Please, I recommend that you do not waste your time and money on this movie, go watch the original because that movie is full of heart and not agenda. Children do not know better then there parents. Also when a movie shows a scene of a female manikin looking and acting like a man and a male manikin looking and acting like a women to show what the future could be is stupid. Do not see this movie!!! They don’t know how to tell good story’s anymore. RIP Disney.

Nicely done. However the original animation is something that I think I prefer. Kinda nice they are reviving them for new generations but me I just prefer the originals.
  • It’s ok

  • The Best Version

My family and I are in love with this new version of Dumbo. Good actors, good effects and the best excelent messege of not using cautive animals for exploit them and enrich the circuses and zoos.

Dumbo wasn't my favorite Disney Cartoon growing up. I liked it, but it was kinda boring, so I wasn't expecting much from this movie. I actually didn't get what they could do with it. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This movie was REALLY good. I thought it did great in the Box office, but when I googled it afterwards I found out that it didn't. I honesly couldn't understand it. This is one of their better live action films. It didn't follow the cartoon to the T, so I think that made it so much more enjoyable. Watch it and make up your OWN mind. Kinda sad that one of the better ones didn't get the deserved critical acclaim that it deserved.
  • Eh......

Not as good as the original but it’s far from the worst. I liked the new take on the character but the villain and conflict was kind of dumb. I did like the acting and visual effects though. And for people telling everyone to go see Aladdin? No, THAT’s the worst one. They politicized a freaking kid’s movie and changed the characters completely.
  • Rip my childhood

I grew up watching the original movie on tape, it was the cutest movie ever! Now however, it’s just meh. I understand that Disney may be running out of ideas but they seriously screwed this one up. Don’t get me wrong, Disney has made some of my other childhood favorites in the past but I wish they wouldn’t ruin the originals by filming remakes years later. I’m just questioning why they hired Tom burton as the director. He’s known for making creepier movies, not really Disney, so some things here (such as the clowns from that bigger circus) turned out to be creepier than something that’s usually found in a kid’s movie. Disney, I have faith in you to not ruin the next movie you make.
