I purchased this thinking I would love it. I have the 1976 version and it is definitely one of my favorite movies! This here is one of the worst and boring movies I have ever seen. All of the actors look and sound so depressed. Like robots. The love scenes are passionless, almost clinical. The characters claim they were in love. Sure didn’t seem like it to me. There was no chemistry between them at all. Don’t understand the need to fill this movie with so much foul language. Lady Gaga is a great singer/song writer. That’s what she does. She has a wholesome and natural beauty about her. She can’t act at all. I can tell she wrote most of these song. They sound mostly alike. You make think differently but this was a no-go for me. Sorry.

I am giving this movie 3 stars. For the songs and the story. However I really didn’t enjoy all the f-bombs. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

Such a great emotional film. Really surprised by Bradley Coopers voice, such an authentic sound. This film is so great from Start to End. Its hard to walk away from the screen. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes Music Movies and Music as a whole. 100%

A cliche and sexist film, imo. It has had one of the biggest machines behind it and has been relentlessly pushed by the media as if it were the first film to have ever been made. Why is it that literally EVERYTHING Lady Gaga does feels so forced and insincere? Her acting is laughable at times through this film... the bathtub scene anyone? And so many of her scenes are shot from a distance, no doubt Coopers clever way of cloaking what a bad actress she really is. So sick of hearing about this movie.

Quickly became one of my favorite movies of all time after watching it the first time. Great for men and women alike. The romance was just as great as the musical journey.
