BOUT FREAKING TIME ITUNES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously I was a YOUNG MAN when this came out now I am 1 to 3 grey hairs shy of an old fart. What in the flying $!@$#!!!!!!!!!!!! took so danm long? OK.. Review that is why you came here. The Major is Gone. Tthis takes place right after the first movie. Bato is adrift and trying to stay at section 9. But he does not feel right. A case comes his way that just won't let go of him. By the end he and Togasa are in for the fight of thier lives. Bato's only hope is a woman who isn't really there and a whisper from his ghost.............

finally! so happy to see that innocence is finally available in the US itunes store. would love to be able to purchase the original japanese version with subtitles, too. please please. the original's are always better and richer in their story and their level of sophistication. and if you love all the GiTS stuff, you'll love this too. a beautiful addition to the franchise that adds some nice depth to some of the section 9 crew.

This film is dubbed and sanaitized. There is no option to watch it with the original cast. Infact the original cast doesn't even get a mention in the credits. The bad dubbing has also sanitized the story for G rated American sensibilities. As a result a lot of the story is lost. The joking between characters, the lecturing, even the concern between them is lost. There is implied dependent relationships that have been added because of the western feminization or masculinizing of the characters. it ruins a good film. just buy the DVD. Has more options then the Apple extras anyway.,

Disapointed it took this long to add to iTunes. No excuses. It's English exclusively, so if anyone was hoping for Japanese with Subtitles, no go joe. But it does have the version of English dubbing that I very much preferred, which was rewritten to more closely align with the Japanese dialogue in the theatrical release. Looks great in HD.
