Don’t listen to the terrible reviews. I love shark movies and thought this movie was great. It had at suspense the whole time. Great job to the creators!
  • At least the ending was good 🤷🏻‍♀️

I watched this on Netflix, thank the lord. Don’t buy it, you’re just wasting your time. I watched the movie half way and skipped to the end, it was okay. But even the sharks were bored and didn’t stay around very long.
  • OXYGEN? UNDERWATER.?

Anyone who has been certified and has scuba dived will tell you that compressed air and not oxygen is used in this sport. They are not the same. And hallucinations don’t occur on deep dives unless you’re the writer of this underwater film. The technical aspects were bad enough but to end it based on these facts is a slap in the face for scuba divers everywhere. Every 33 feet you dive is like drinking a martini. At 66 feet, ..2 martini’s. So at 47 meters, 154.2 feet would have been the equivalent of 4 to 5 martini’s. So intoxicated slightly but certainly not hallucinogenic. The ending totally sucked! Is it worth.99 yes, only because of the shark effects and SOME decent acting.

This was alright but not great. The intense high energy of trying to survive in shark infested waters. This ain’t Shark Week.

A real documentary about sharks would have been better. Predictable plot. Acting is not too bad. But overall forgettable.

It must be difficult to come up with a somwhat original and pretty good concept for yet another shark movie...but 47 Meters Down is just that. It's a great movie. It has its issues. The sharks are too aggressive than their real world counterparts seem to be on all the documentaries. The air tanks would not last nearly as long as they did at 47 meters down in the real world. The bends is not guaranteed fatal as it's protrayed to be in the movie. But the movie is really tense and fun to watch so it's not hard to suspend a little disbelief. MINOR SPOILER FOLLOWS... I liked the somewhat controversial ending. My only complaint is that I would have faded to black at 1:21:20. I would have eliminated the whole bit about the Coast Guard and the final "real" rescue. I would have had Lisa's last bit of air run out as she faded away...babbling incoherently under nitro narcossis...then no more bubbles and fade to black. It would have been wonderfully bleak.
