Description

After viewing a legendary cursed videotape, Natsumi discovers she has only two days before she will be killed by the demonic entity known as Sadako. The only way to break the curse: pitting the demon Sadako against Kayako, an accursed spirit possessing a haunted house where everyone who enters disappears. Sadako vs. Kayako brings the characters from Ringu and Ju-On: The Grudge back to the big screen in a wildly fun, tongue-in-cheek thrill ride that finally answers the question: whose curse is stronger?

Jump scares are great. If u didn’t notice them, watch the movie again until you do. I also loved the fight. I still am confused on who won though. Because I was so scared I had my eyes closed! 😃 LOL If u know, please respond and say who won. It would also be cool if you made a Sadako vs Kayako 2! I think the fight should have been longer. AND I think you should’ve used Takako Fuji as Kayako in stead of Rina Endo. Kayako just looks like a girl with ketchup all over her face though...I find the mark on her head makes her look Indian (because they do forehead marks) and Sadako——she’s really good!

Could’ve been way worse and that’s put very honestly. This was unexpectedly good. Not too cheesy, right amount of story telling, and suspense.
  • I really enjoyed this, but...

This was ultimately disappointing. Wonderfully handled build-up leading to a huge crescendo... then the movie just stops! It seemed like the writers just couldn't figure out where to go from there. I still give it 4 stars but can't recommend you buy it.

Title of the film really says it all (although I do wish the actual fight between the two was longer). This is a movie that respects both franchises and doesn't overstay it's running time. Certainly miles above "Rings"!
