  • This is a Re-See

I immediately replayed it and will again: the best movie I have seen in years, critics be damned. Fine interweaving of plot, the imagery and symbolism, the touching characters, the great cast, and the awesome music, Collateral Beauty is one of those sleepers which will grow in popularity. It provides message and feeds the spirit. Yes, definitely a re-see.

  • Incredible

I have never written a review before, but I felt the need to this time, because I need to spread the truth about this movie so that others will watch it. This movie is an incredible movie. I have never seen anything like it. It fully captures the truth about losing someone without over doing it. It is heartbreaking, heartfelt, honest, sad, surprising, and loving. I highly recommend this incredible movie.

  • I didn’t buy this

I didn’t buy this but it used my money and bought it anyway, and I don’t know how to get a refund, this movie is terrible anyways.
  • I cried

    By Albrabrand
I cried. I read the reviews and assumed it was a sappy movie and that I would depart from it rolling my eye, but I cried. Movies never make me cry. A book, sure, but a movie, almost never, but I cried. As I watched it, I thought sure this is sad and sappy and like every other sad movie, then( and I won’t spoil it) I cried.
  • May require a connection

    By Nox5150
I'd give it 4.5... Maybe the critics and those who report a poor review don't have an actual connection to the movie (any sense of loss). I have yet to find a perfect movie, but I will rate something highly if it can elicit a connection to an audience. If you've ever lost a child or any loved one many years before their time, you will cry. Could it have been longer and tied aspects together? Of course, but many movies do. The point I think rests in that. Making the story; finding something more, beyond the mediocre. Enjoy this for how it makes you feel, not for what some call "incomplete." Some of us look for the "more," and in the case of this movie, the "collateral beauty." -- Cheers, enjoy!
